Expertly crafted from sustainably harvested Grade-A teak wood, each piece is chosen for its superior quality and enduring beauty. The premium, natural teak curated by Arhaus remains untreated and unfinished—its warm tones revealed through expert sanding for a smooth, polished texture.
Natural teak showcases organic variations in tone and grain, giving each piece a one-of-a-kind character. Small splits, knots, and joint lines may appear, enhancing the wood’s authenticity without compromising its strength or performance. The wood’s natural oils provide innate protection against insects, drying, and moisture. Teak also resists fungal decay, rot, and warping, even when exposed to changing climates.
Over time, teak’s rich golden hue will gracefully weather into a distinguished silvery-grey patina. This transformation begins naturally when exposed to light and air.
The collection’s cushions are made from open-cell, quick-dry foam wrapped in premium poly fibers sourced from recycled post-consumer plastics. Engineered for the outdoors, the cushions allow maximum airflow and water drainage. Both seat and back cushions include a mesh bottom panel and a removable cover with a discreet zipper for convenience.
